TARDISblend 80: Flatline

Arriving in Bristol, the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) discover something very wrong: the TARDIS exterior is shrinking, and people in the area are disappearing. During TARDISblend 80, we examine the fabulous dimensional concept delivered toDoctor Who in this episode by writer Jamie Mathieson; a tale that will be remembered as a highlight of Series 8.

TARDISblend 79: Mummy On The Orient Express

After reconciling, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) decides on one final journey together with the Doctor (Peter Capaldi), which influence some major choices. The pair end up on the Orient Express in Space – a ship resembling the famed train, and first mentioned by the Doctor (Matt Smith) many, many years ago.

During TARDISblend 79, we discuss the reminiscing, nods, and tributes abound throughout Mummy on the Orient Express, coupled with a plot first hinted at by Steven Moffat at the end of Series 5 in 2010! Later we discuss the performances by the cast in this episode, from the primary players to the guest stars.

TARDISblend 78: Kill The Moon

The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) takes Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) and Courtney Woods (Ellis George) on a trip to the Moon in 2049, only to find that the anticipated gravity is impossibly like that of Earth. Soon, deadly creatures begin emerging from the depths of the Moon, and the Doctor discovers that not everything is as it seems…

During TARDISblend 78, we discuss the dark and spooky aspects of the latest Doctor Who episode, hearkening back to feel of the Philip Hinchcliffe era of the series.
